We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Nurse to join our Winter Ward team at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent healthcare services.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your clinical skills and expertise. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, planning and implementing care, and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions. You will also work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive assessments of patient nursing needs and develop individualized care plans
- Implement and evaluate care interventions, including providing clinical expertise and guidance to colleagues
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure that patient needs are met
- Involve patients, relatives, and carers in the delivery of care, providing reassurance and support as needed
- Prepare the clinical area for safe practice, ensuring that cleanliness and equipment are maintained
- Provide escort and transfer for patients as directed by the multidisciplinary team
- Recognize and respond appropriately to urgent and emergency situations
- Collect, collate, and report information, maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
