At Wärtsilä Corporation, we are seeking a talented Data Insights Specialist to join our Port Optimization Business Insights team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in driving informed decision-making through data-driven analysis.

The successful candidate will work closely with their mentor to extract valuable insights from both internal and external data sources, contributing to market modelling, market potential assessment, and business case development.

  • Data Acquisition and Cleaning: Collect and organize data from diverse sources, ensuring its accuracy and integrity.
  • Data Visualization: Create charts and graphs to effectively communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis: Identify trends and patterns in data to inform business decisions.
  • Data Modelling: Develop models to simulate various market or business scenarios and estimate their financial implications.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, PowerBI) is a plus.
  • While not mandatory, work experience in maritime, software, engineering, or financial industries can be advantageous.
