At Reed Further Education, we are always looking for talented and committed lecturers to register with our agency in all specialisms. If you are looking for a new role or have just finished a booking, we are eager to speak with you and help you secure a new role.

As a lecturer, you will have the opportunity to work with several colleges across the Midlands, Wales, Cambridge, and other areas. The roles vary from permanent to temporary roles and can be part-time and full-time depending on availability at the colleges.

Successful lecturers will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Teaching qualification i.e AET, PTLLS, PGCE, certificate in education
  • Level 3 or equivalent qualification in teaching subject area
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour
  • Experience interacting with 16–19-year-olds in education or apprentice setting
  • Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Reed Compliance
