About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic student to join our nurse bank team as a Healthcare Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a busy hospital environment while earning some cash to help with student expenses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and record baseline observations for patients under your daily allocation, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Escalate issues to relevant registered staff members related to acute patient deterioration.
  • Provide holistic care to meet individual patient needs, including personal care, continence assistance, and mealtime support.
  • Clean equipment and ward areas as needed.
  • Procure and handle clinical samples and swabs.

Our pay scale ranges from £ basic to £ during unsocial hours, based on the Agenda for Change compensation framework.
