Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Contract Type: temporary contract ongoing 4 on 4 off

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a fast-paced multi-site manufacturer in FMCG manufacturing, with an electrical bias and competent shift engineer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. To service, adjust, and repair process and production machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe and proper manner.
  2. To examine machinery and equipment and report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements.
  3. Carry out planned and preventative maintenance to agreed schedules.
  4. Work as part of a team to keep this site running to World Class Standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
  1. Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical Engineering or similar manufacturing.
  2. Or equivalent of any of the above in electrical fields, preferably with an FMCG manufacturing background.

A competent electrical engineering professional with technical experience is required. The ideal candidate should be able to solve problems, have PLC / automation experience ideally, and produce safe systems of work. They should be capable of contributing to the development, manufacture, commissioning, decommissioning, operation or maintenance of products, equipment, process or service.

This is an all-round hands-on maintenance electrical role as well as conveyors and processing end of line packing. Extensive planned maintenance tasks and organisation of the engineering plant is also essential.
