About this role:

This is a unique opportunity to join Endava as a Senior Airlines Industry Strategist, where you will play a key part in advancing our strategic objectives within the dynamic Travel industry.

As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will contribute significantly to the refinement of our offerings, working closely with account, delivery, and sales teams to identify new business opportunities and foster the expansion of existing accounts.

You will be responsible for empathizing and communicating with new and existing Endava clients, understanding their needs, and translating them into commercial opportunities for our company.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working as part of a tight-knit team to drive and shape Industry Vertical Teams (IVTs)
  • Driving the IVT SME agenda
  • Using market knowledge to identify areas where Endava should focus
  • Collaborating with the SME Community to build out our capabilities within the industry
  • Helping to identify trends that result in additional skills, capabilities, and technologies being recruited into Endava
  • Taking ownership of the IVT SME status
  • Contributing SME input to and attending the Industry IVT monthly executive meeting
  • Understanding enough of the business to appreciate impacts and pain points
  • Bid content production collaboration

What skills and experience do you need?

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong team player with a collaborative attitude
  • Industry experience in either working for an airline, preferably in a technology position, or working for a technology services company specializing in the airline industry
  • Knowledge of the travel industry at a broader level
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry dynamics and movements
  • The ability to spot emerging industry trends and match them with Endava's services and capabilities
  • A willingness to be an industry face of Endava, contributing to events, online content, and more
  • A good network
  • Strong Leadership acumen
