Job Summary

At MPI Limited, we seek a highly skilled Automotive Technician Specialist to join our team in St. Ives. This full-time position comes with a salary of £28,000 per year, plus a performance-based bonus.

The ideal candidate will work standard hours, Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with the possibility of overtime. Main Responsibilities
  • To perform routine vehicle servicing and repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
  • To conduct thorough examinations of vehicles, identify non-routine defects, and accurately document these findings.
  • To work efficiently, staying within budgeted timeframes while maintaining high labour productivity.
  • To take responsibility for maintaining workshop equipment and following established quality and efficiency targets.
  • To communicate effectively with customers, providing clear technical explanations and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • To support less-experienced technicians and colleagues, offering guidance and assistance when needed.
  • To attend manufacturer-led training sessions.
  • To report technical issues properly and handle customer data in compliance with GDPR regulations.
