About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electric Wiring Technician/Wireman/Woman to join our team at Plexus. As an Electric Wiring Technician, you will be responsible for operating production test equipment, troubleshooting and repairing defective products, maintaining test equipment, monitoring test performance and yield information, and providing technical support to the manufacturing teams.
Key Responsibilities

- Maintain a level temperament in a stressful environment.
- Share information, knowledge, and experience with coworkers.

- Stay up-to-date on certifications and training requirements.
- Complete assignments on time without compromising quality.
- Use time effectively to manage workload and tasks.
- Meet individual throughput goals.
- Understand and follow Plexus quality policy guidelines, customer specifications, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Look for opportunities to improve quality and eliminate waste.
- Deliver work that eliminates scrap or rework.
Requirements
- Previous wiring experience on complex systems.
- Ability to define best processes.
- Ability to advise on tools and equipment required.
- Ability to understand and read Blueprints, Engineering Drawings, and Wiring schematics.
- Previous experience and/or ability to coach, mentor, and train other members of the manufacturing team.
- A minimum of an Associate's degree is required; an Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
Work Environment
The work setting should consist of a manufacturing environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a low noise level.
