Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician to join our team at Vision Accounting. As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the Accounts Manager with accounts preparation, taxation, and other general accountancy practice services. You will work closely with the team to provide a high-quality, proactive service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing accounts for Limited Companies and Sole Traders
- Completing regular bookkeeping and preparing VAT Returns
- Providing Payroll & CIS Returns services for clients on a monthly basis
- Running offsite errands such as collection and returning of client files
- Monitoring own workflow, communicating with the Directors, and sharing resources and knowledge where possible
Requirements:
- Be qualified to a minimum of Level 4 AAT
- Have a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
- Have a good knowledge of various cloud-based accountancy software
- Be proficient in all Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Have a positive, can-do approach and be able to work closely with colleagues within a friendly and social office environment
