Expert Employment is seeking a highly skilled Hot Fire Space Thruster Test Engineer to join our team at a very busy space thruster test facility. This exciting opportunity focuses on Hot Fire Testing programmes, where you will utilize your knowledge of space thruster theory to design and manufacture liquid propellant and high-pressure gas feed systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of space thruster theory, particularly the ground testing of thrusters. You will also be proficient in analysing and assessing test data, including collation and analysis, then presentation in graphs, tables, etc.

In this role, you will contribute to Research and Development and other space propulsion-related activities. Your mechanical fitting and practical engineering skills, preferably gained from an apprenticeship or within an engineering-related organization, will be essential in ensuring site preparation and maintenance, fuel and oxidiser handling, pressure systems, instrumentation, control systems, space thruster theory, steam boiler operation, data analysis, and site and system safety.
