Job Description: Paediatric Autism Assessor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Paediatrician to join our team as a Paediatric Autism Assessor. This role involves assessing children and young people suspected of having autism spectrum disorder (ASD). You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing care and support to individuals and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and young people suspected of having ASD.
  • Develop treatment plans tailored to the individual's needs.
  • Provide ongoing care and support to individuals and their families.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information.

Requirements:
  • GMC registration with a valid license to practice.
  • CCT in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry preferred, but not essential.
  • Experience in ASD assessments and diagnosis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum
