Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Extra Recruitment. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing preventative maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement repairs or replacements as necessary
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
  • Collaborate with production staff to identify and resolve equipment-related issues
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a maintenance or mechanical engineering role
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
