About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AC Engineer to join our team at GHA Recruitment Ltd. As an AC Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment, undertaking PPM servicing and repair works across various contracts, and attending callouts during normal working hours and in addition be part of the out-of-hours emergency callout rota.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment;
  • Undertake PPM servicing and repair works across various contracts;
  • Attend callouts during normal working hours and in addition be part of the out-of-hours emergency callout rota;
  • Troubleshoot issues with a system as they are identified;
  • Conduct performance tests with specialist tools and make adjustments as necessary;
  • Wear relevant company-issued PPE and clothing;
  • Submit clear and concise service reports and timesheets.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of HVAC plant;
  • Knowledge and experience of air conditioning systems and their controls;
  • Knowledge of Legionella and overall health and safety;
  • Ability to fault find and service all HVAC control manufacturer's equipment;
  • FGas 2079 Cat1;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook;
  • Self-motivated with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills;
What We Offer
  • Hours per week are 08:00 to 17:00 negotiable, 40-hour week;
  • Salary ranging between $40k to £45k Depending on Experience;
  • 25 days holiday (not including bank holidays);
  • Pension scheme after 3 full months service (3% employer contribution, 5% employee);
  • Overtime available but not guaranteed;
  • Tablet and phone;
  • Company uniform;
  • Company works vehicle;
  • Employee referral scheme of £1000.
