We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radiographer to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a Senior Radiographer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality imaging services to our patients, working closely with our clinical and radiographic teams.
Main DutiesThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and experience in a variety of imaging modalities. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality imaging services to patients, including plain X-ray, CT, and MRI scans
- Working closely with our clinical teams to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients
- Developing and implementing imaging protocols and guidelines to ensure high-quality patient care
- Supervising and mentoring junior radiographers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality patient care
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A BSc Hons degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
- Health Professional Council registration
- Up-to-date knowledge of general imaging techniques and modalities
- Experience of working in a busy radiography department, with a strong focus on patient care and safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals
