About the Role

Fleet Tutors is seeking a dedicated and passionate ESOL/EFL Tutor to join our team of educational professionals. As an ESOL/EFL Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting learners who require dedicated, in-person tuition to achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality tuition to learners in their homes or schools, focusing on improving their self-confidence and subject knowledge.
  • Collaborate with learners' guardians/teachers to ensure their academic success and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
  • Monitor learners' progress and maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance through our virtual learning platform.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.
  • Be willing to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process, as well as subscribing to the DBS Update Service.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and other complex requirements.
