Job Title: Daily Hygiene Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled daily hygiene expert to join our cleaning crew. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for our customers across the London Borough and surrounding areas.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, split shifts - 06.00 - 10.00am and 3pm - 7pm, with occasional weekend work

Salary: £15.52 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure premises are kept clean and hygienic through daily cleaning tasks.
  2. Carry out tasks such as sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying litter bins, polishing, dusting, and window cleaning.
  3. Use various cleaning equipment, including electrically powered equipment and cleaning agents/chemicals.
  4. Perform tasks such as wall washing, carpet cleaning, re-sealing floors, and dressing floors.
  5. Unlock and lock doors on client premises and set alarms as needed.
  6. Complete paperwork covering variations, stock ordering, quality control systems, and submit weekly timesheets.
  7. Comply with Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and company's internal Health & Safety policies and working rules.
  8. Deliver cleaning materials and equipment as required.
  9. Cover duties as directed by Line Manager.
  10. Maintain a tidy van.
  11. Communicate using provided smartphone.
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience in daily hygiene or a related field is essential.
  2. General cleaning qualifications, including hard floors, carpet cleaning, and wood floors, are required.
  3. A full driving license is necessary.
  4. Certification for machinery use is mandatory.
  5. Experience in cleaning multiple sites, including schools, depots, and offices, is preferred.
  6. Flexibility regarding working hours, such as early morning starts and split shifts, is required.
  7. Teamwork and communication skills are essential.
  8. A passion for providing excellent customer service is necessary.
