Salary


The salary for this full-time position is between £25,000 and £28,000, depending on experience, with opportunities for growth within the firm's Financial Administration and Paraplanning departments.



Job Description


As an Administrative Support Specialist for Financial Services, you will provide integral administrative support to the business, liaising with clients and product providers via various communication channels, handling queries promptly and clearly, and accurately inputting client information onto internal systems.



Day-to-Day Responsibilities



  • Providing administrative support to the business, including preparing client files, meeting notes, and plan information.
  • Liaising with clients and product providers via telephone, letter, and email.
  • Handling client queries promptly and clearly.
  • Accurately inputting client information onto internal systems.
  • Preparing appropriate documentation to enable changes to be processed.
  • Arranging the set-up of all policies and plans and producing plan information.
  • Liaising with Paraplanners to ensure client reports are issued promptly.
  • Preparing valuation reports regularly.
  • Performing ad-hoc duties as required.


Requirements and Qualifications



  • Prior experience in a similar role in a financial environment is desired.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional rapport.
  • A team player with good initiative and the ability to take charge of your own workload.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Organised with good time management skills.
  • Highly numerate with excellent problem-solving skills and consistently solutions-focused.
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
