**Job Title:** Data Scientist and Quantitative Modeller

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist and Quantitative Modeller to join our team at Selby Jennings in London. As a key member of our CTA Relative Value pod, you will be responsible for driving innovation within the CTA space while exploring opportunities for diversification across strategies and markets.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in machine learning and quantitative analysis, with experience in developing and optimizing models for relative value strategies. You will work closely with experienced professionals to develop cutting-edge models and deliver impactful results.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and optimize models for relative value strategies within the CTA space.
  • Research new signals and explore diversification opportunities across asset classes and trading horizons.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement robust models using Python or C++ and ensure scalability and performance.

**Requirements:**

  • 2-5 years of experience in quantitative research, ideally within CTA, RV, or systematic strategies.
  • Strong programming skills in Python or C++ and experience working with large datasets.
  • Familiarity with CTA strategies, market dynamics, and signal generation techniques.
  • A proactive and innovative mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

**Estimated Salary:** £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
