We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at The Hire Place LLP. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our engineering team and overseeing the maintenance, projects, and health and safety aspects of our operations.

• Investigate and implement continuous improvement activities across the site, working closely with other departments.
• Develop, prioritize, and manage site-wide mechanical engineering projects.
• Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of our Computerized Maintenance Management System.
• Promote a safe operating culture, ensuring compliance with legal, statutory requirements, and company rules and procedures.
• Provide regular budget reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.

• A background in process-related manufacturing, preferably in the chemical, petro-chemical, oil, and gas industries.
• Strong mechanical knowledge, backed by a minimum 'Higher' qualification (HNC/HND or Degree).
• At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management capacity.
• Excellent leadership qualities and strong communication skills.

• Salary up to £55,000.
• Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30 working hours.
