Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook breakfast dishes, ensuring that all food is presented to a high standard.
  • Quality Control: Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins and ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards.
  • Stock Control and Ordering: Assist with stock control and ordering to ensure that all ingredients are available for preparation.
  • Kitchen Safety and Hygiene: Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Culinary Experience: Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a Demi Chef de Partie is essential.
  • Culinary Skills: Strong cooking skills and a passion for cooking are required.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and time management skills are required to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Certification: NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in professional cookery is desirable.
