About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 6 teacher to join our team at a superb primary school in Hackney. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional pastoral care to our Year 6 pupils, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons, focusing on individual learning targets and promoting academic excellence.
  • Develop and implement maths strategies, introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry to enhance student understanding.
  • Encourage creative writing skills, helping pupils develop plots, characters, and settings for stories.
  • Monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and reporting to parents as needed.
