As a Volunteer Driver - Supporter of Independent Living, you will play a vital role in enabling our service users to maintain their independence by providing reliable transportation to appointments and activities.

Requirements

  • To be a confident driver with a full clean driver's license
  • To be able to assist when necessary with sighted guidance/orientation
  • To be kind, empathetic, and patient
  • To be reliable and punctual

What to Expect

You will be required to undergo a DBS check and provide two satisfactory references before starting the role. You will also receive safeguarding training and any necessary training specific to the position.
