Transport Operations Manager - Supply Chain & Logistics - Staffordshire
About The Company
Our client is a leading third-party logistics provider in the UK who puts their customers at the heart of everything they do. They are seeking a seasoned Transport Operations Manager with a proven track record in managing transport operations.
You will lead their operation and team across three main sites and four satellite sites. This role is very much around management style, and it's a great opportunity to go in and change the new TMS structure for this account. You will travel across three main sites weekly, with one work-from-home day. This is a day-based role, Monday to Friday, with no call-outs.
Transport Operations Manager - The Rewards
- Excellent salary up to £90,000

Transport Operations Manager - Requirements
- Strong transport operations experience within 3PL desired
- Must be confident to present to large numbers of people, so being a subject matter expert in this field of transport is essential
- Must have strong commercial acumen and PNL experience
- Experience of having a positive relationship with unions is essential
- Strong people management skills
Transport Operations Manager - Responsibilities
- Responsible for being part of the strategic changes across this account
- Building relationships with third-party hauliers
- Responsible for four direct reports and 341 indirect reports
- Responsible for the fleet of over 500 vehicles
- Able to implement change positively across the account
- Maintain excellent employee engagement
