We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Loungers. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional food quality and service standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery
- Develop and implement kitchen procedures to maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and execute menus, ensuring consistency and quality
- Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize resources
- Train and develop junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Overtime pay for every hour worked over contracted hours

- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume kitchen environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

- Ability to work under pressure, think on your feet, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
