We are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning practice based in Amersham who are looking for an experienced IFA Administrator to join their team.

**Key Requirements and Skills:**

  • Excellent team working and liaison skills to effectively manage tasks and provide support for other team members
  • A thorough understanding of FCA regulations and guidelines relating to financial services clients
  • A willingness to continue developing knowledge of products and related issues through formal and informal learning
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) that are effective and meet business needs
  • The ability to prioritize and organize own workload
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in IT skills commensurate with computer packages used in this industry and knowledge of Intelligent Office would be beneficial
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Managing new business submissions and tracking them to conclusion
  • Day-to-day client management, processing any queries that may arise
  • Administration of Group Pension schemes
  • Administration of Group Risk Schemes
  • Liaising with clients, product providers, and other relevant third parties
  • Ensuring back-office systems are kept up to date, including client and provider data
  • Issuing Letters of Authority, chasing for policy information, building schedules, and putting existing policies on the system
  • Obtaining illustrations and supporting literature
  • Supporting Financial Planners in research and analysis to meet client needs and objectives
  • Being conversant with, and adhering to, Company procedures and policies and the requirements of the FCA Standards and Rules and to implement and maintain procedures as stipulated in accordance with the Rules of the FCA
