We are seeking a highly skilled Estate Management Professional to join our Property Team at Gleeson Recruitment Group. As an Estate Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Head of Estates and the wider property team in managing our portfolio across the UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities- Portfolio Management: Support the Head of Estates in managing our portfolio of around 100 sites, ensuring that all properties are maintained to the highest standards.
- Property Advice: Provide advice and assistance to various departments on day-to-day property management and lease issues.
- Construction and FM Collaboration: Work closely with construction and facilities management colleagues to interpret legal arrangements and provide advice on repairing obligations.
- Financial Management: Collaborate with the finance team to ensure that rents and other legal and financial liabilities are paid on time and support with cost mitigation strategies.
- Property Asset Register: Help develop and maintain our Property Asset Register, ensuring that robust document management and property information systems are in place.
- Rent Reviews and Lease Renewals: Conduct rent reviews, lease renewals, regears, and new leases, as well as dealing with breaks and applying for landlords' consents.
- Acquisitions and Disposals: Assist the Head of Estates with the collation of comparable rental advice and may support with acquisitions and disposals, as well as relocations from time to time.
- Experience: 3 years or more property or estates experience across a multisite portfolio.
- Technical Knowledge: Good technical knowledge and understanding of Landlord and Tenant legislation.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to operate strategically and reactively while maintaining a varied workload in an often fast-paced environment.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Education: A full UK driving license and access to a roadworthy vehicle in order to undertake site visits.
As an Estate Manager at Gleeson Recruitment Group, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £52,000 plus a car allowance of £5,000. You will also have the opportunity to work in a collaborative and stable Property team, with a clear career progression path.
