Job Title: Adult Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adult Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the NHS. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical psychology services to adults with complex mental health needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop treatment plans for individuals with complex mental health needs.
  • Provide evidence-based psychological interventions, including individual and group therapy, to promote recovery and well-being.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of individuals and their families.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote best practice in clinical psychology.
  • Participate in research and audit activities to inform service development and improve patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Doctoral level training in clinical psychology or its approved equivalent.
  • Experience of working with adults with complex mental health needs, including those with personality disorders and dual diagnosis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a high degree of professionalism and discretion.

  • A competitive salary of £53,775 to £60,504 per annum, pro rata.
