About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Management Associate Director to join our team at Gleeds. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing costs and budgets of construction projects, from early cost advice to settlement of the final account.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives.
  • Positively engage with Customers and develop, grow, and maintain Customer relationships.
  • Deliver high-quality services and ensure that cost management deliverables meet Customers' requirements.
  • Manage projects to deliver high-quality services and deliverables in accordance with business procedures.
  • Prepare and present order of cost estimates and option studies.
  • Cost planning and benchmarking.
  • Cost-in-use studies.
  • Advise on and implement procurement strategies.
  • Value completed work and arrange for payments.
  • Settle final accounts.
  • Provide technical advice on legal and contractual issues relating to construction projects.
  • Administer contracts as Contract Administrator or Employer's Agent.
  • Manage service delivery for profit.
  • Advise Directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or that might arise, on projects; in particular those that might impact on Gleeds professional indemnity (PI) insurance.
  • Actively identify new business development opportunities and drive growth across the Business Units' activities.
