Mechanical Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to join our team at WR HVAC | M&E, a leading recruitment partner for HVAC jobs in the UK.
As a Mechanical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the success of our clients' businesses, working alongside electrical estimators to complete tenders for mechanical building services projects.
Key Responsibilities- Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates.
- Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to produce competitive bids for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to gather necessary information and ensure the accuracy of estimates.
This role is suitable for existing estimators or candidates with experience of estimating who are looking to pursue the estimating profession full time.
Applicants should have a mechanical engineering or project management background, with experience of estimating as part of their role.
PackageWe offer a competitive salary of £50,000 to £70,000 depending on experience, plus a car or allowance of circa £6,000, hybrid working, private healthcare, and 8% pension.
