Salary: £37,338 - £44,962 per annum (pro rata)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced critical care practitioner to join our team as a Transfer Practitioner. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality transfer care to critically unwell patients across the South West region.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assume responsibility for the specialised care required to transfer critically ill adults
  • Develop clinical and management skills through remote working with local teams
  • Work independently to provide Practitioner-delivered transfers of Level 2 and Level 1 patients
  • Mentor new members of the multi-professional team and support ongoing education programs

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant professional registrations with the NMC
  • Educated to Degree level or working towards completion
  • Speciality qualification in Adult Critical Care (or equivalent)
  • Assessing and mentoring qualification or willingness to undertake
  • Advanced life support (ALS) or willingness to undertake
  • Teaching qualification
