As a Residential Support Worker at Major Ashford Healthcare, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our residential settings. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team and contribute to the delivery of our care services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring the needs of each young person are met.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with young people, their families, and external agencies to ensure a collaborative approach to care.
- Ensure the home is maintained in a clean and tidy condition, promoting a safe and healthy environment for young people.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to regulatory requirements and seeking guidance from senior staff as needed.
- Contribute to the educational and social development of each young person, supporting the implementation of individual education programs.
- Meet the emotional and physical needs of young people, promoting their development and well-being.
- Support the deputy/manager of the home, undertaking senior duties as directed and contributing to the smooth operation of the service.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent (desirable)
- Experience in a children's home setting (essential)
- Ability to work shift patterns, including sleep ins, with a rota plan provided in advance
- Must be over the age of 21 to meet industry regulations
- Successful employment subject to satisfactory Full Enhanced Disclosure, right to work, and reference checks
