Adult Community Speech Therapist

Yooralla is seeking a passionate and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team as a permanent full-time or part-time Adult Speech Pathologist in Mitcham. This rewarding role will provide best practice, evidence-based speech pathology services to adults with disabilities to achieve their goals and live the life they choose.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver therapy in people's homes, educational settings, or in the community to support clients in achieving their goals.
- Develop and implement communication skills and mealtime safety programs to promote overall health and wellbeing.
- Established and enthusiastic Speech Pathologist with a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to engage people with a disability, motivate them, and build their capability.
- Ability to work in partnership with adults with disabilities to set and achieve goals, and to work collaboratively with the person's supports, including their families.
- Current membership with SPA.
- Competency in a variety of IT platforms, particularly client management systems.
- Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Australian driver's licence and own vehicle, and a willingness to travel across the Eastern region of Melbourne as required.
