Salary: £100,000 + Car allowance + Family Healthcare

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Director to lead our manufacturing business towards World Class Manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic and day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring high productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Drive cultural transformation initiatives to foster a high-performance work environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve World Class Manufacturing standards, focusing on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, supply chain, and HR teams to align operational goals with business objectives.
  • Monitor and optimize KPIs, ensuring strong performance across key metrics such as safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior operations role within automotive, aerospace, or similar manufacturing environments.
  • A track record of leading operational and cultural transformation projects, with measurable success in moving a facility closer to World Class Manufacturing standards.
  • Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and develop high-performing teams.
