Role Summary

Academics Ltd is looking for a motivated and compassionate individual to fill the position of Graduate Mentorship Opportunity. As an Educational Support Professional, you will work closely with our team to provide support for pupils facing mental health and emotional difficulties.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying the needs and triggers of our pupils, developing trusted relationships, and helping them overcome their challenges. You will also contribute to creating a safe and secure environment for our students to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for pupils facing mental health and emotional difficulties
  • Develop trusted relationships with our students
  • Help pupils feel safe, secure, and empowered
  • Encourage positive decision-making and reduce anti-social behaviors
  • Increase academic performance through trauma-informed practices

Requirements:

  • Recent graduate with a degree in Psychology or Criminology
  • Confident and bubbly personality
  • Passion for helping vulnerable children
  • Caring nature
  • Previous experience working with children or vulnerable adults (desired)
