Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Project Manager to join our team at Heathrow Airport. As a Commercial Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial projects, ensuring safe and timely delivery, and supporting business partners in managing their project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial projects, ensuring compliance with Heathrow technical standards and health & safety standards.
  • Support business partners in managing their project teams, from briefing to design approval and successful delivery of the project.
  • Ensure commercial delivery activities are in line with the commercial development brief requirements.
  • Provide guidance and advice on design and technical issues to commercial functions.
  • Follow project and approvals processes, reporting status against the programme, issue management, and capture learning for suggestions of continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the commissioning and handover process for commercial units, ensuring relevant permits are in place.
  • Participate in projects and working groups, and carry out other duties that may be outside the standard remit for the purpose of personal development.
  • Maintain a commitment to the Health and Safety Policies of the Company, employing safe work practices to minimize risks to oneself, coworkers, and customers.

Requirements:

  • Evidence of full lifecycle project delivery, including design and construction of commercial facilities, contractual procedures, and health and safety knowledge in an airport or similar environment.
  • A working knowledge/experience of Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Building, and Civil services, Heathrow Design, Technical, and Safety Standards or project management.
  • Prior hands-on evidence of delivering Experiential and Advertising-based commercial projects.
