Job Title: Care Assistant
Job Type: Part-time
Hours: 6 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 2 hours per day, 3 times a week
Wage: £12.00 per hour
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to a gentleman with autism in a safe and respectful environment.
- Assist with daily living tasks, including light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Escort the service user to appointments and provide transportation to the supermarket.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies.
- Use own vehicle for transportation and ensure a valid driving license and insurance.
About the Role:
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Be a kind, friendly, and trustworthy individual who is reliable and punctual.
- Have a flexible approach to duties and be willing to adapt to changing circumstances.
Requirements:
- DBS check will be undertaken by the employer and paid for by the employer.
- Valid driving license and use of own vehicle.
