Curriculum Developer

We are seeking a world-class teacher for children to deliver top-tier curriculum in a structured environment. As a Curriculum Developer, you will be responsible for reviewing and preparing KIPP NC approved curriculum, practicing lesson delivery to execute curriculum at a high level, creating exemplar responses and documents for work to hold students accountable, and using assessment data to drive instruction and make lesson adjustments to meet students' needs.

- Practicing lesson delivery to execute curriculum at a high level
- Creating exemplar responses and documents for work to hold students accountable
- Using assessment data to drive instruction and make lesson adjustments to meet students' needs
- Maintaining accurate gradebook, records, and data tracking systems
- Embodying and maintaining school's values, policies and culture
- Assuming personal responsibility for student achievement
- Maintaining a clean classroom displaying student work
- Developing positive relationships with students, families, teachers, and staff
- Participating in the daily functions of the school
- Providing specially designed instruction (SDI) to students who qualify for special education services
- Utilizing the general education curriculum to plan and deliver instruction for students with disabilities
Requirements:
- A deep commitment to the mission of KIPP NC
- Valid North Carolina teaching license or willingness to pursue state certification
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant content area
- Zest, grit, professionalism, and a sense of humor
- At least 2 full years of teaching experience in EC / SPED General Curriculum
