About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Fylde Coast Home-Based Treatment Team (HBTT) based at The Gateway, Blackpool FC Stadium. The post is full-time (10PA).

The postholder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing a 24/7 service for people in the Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre area, aged 16 years old or above who have moderate to complex or serious mental health problems.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinics and home visits for patients referred to and under the care of the HbTT.
  • Work holistically to support service users within their own homes and remaining in the community as per evidence-based practice.
  • Participate on the Consultant On Call rota, for which additional remuneration will be payable.

Requirements

  • Full GMC registration and Licence to Practise.
  • On GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months.
  • Section 12 approved or within 3 months.
  • AC status or within 3 months.
