Aspire Jobs is delighted to be working with our client, a well-established family-run business, who are seeking a highly skilled QSHE Manager to join their hardworking team.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the management system, identifying and implementing initiatives to improve it, including all procedures and processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain quality, safety, and environmental systems, implement, audit, and update all associated documentation to achieve compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
- Monitor, audit, and report on QSHE performance and provide feedback and assurance to the Senior Leadership Team.
- Develop, maintain, and improve the business integrated Management system to underpin QSHE and operating standards.
- Maintain a risk register, reviewing QSHE risks and escalating where appropriate.
- Maintain a legal register to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Support the training and development of all staff to ensure awareness and understanding of QSHE standards.
- Implement and monitor emergency management plans across all sites and ensure a robust line of escalation exists.
- NEBOSH diploma in Occupational Health & Safety Level 3 – preferred.
- Ideally have IMEA (Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment), although this is not essential.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QSHE and be able to demonstrate their expertise in maintaining and improving management systems.
