Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountancy Operations Manager to join our client's dynamic team in Brighton. As a key member of the organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with experience in preparing statutory, financial, and management accounts for small and medium-sized businesses. You will also possess excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of managing client portfolios and supervising teams.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented Director to drive business growth, manage client relationships, and oversee all operational aspects of the organization. You will also be responsible for leading a dynamic team, managing an expanding client base, and ensuring high standards of client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage financial accounts, including statutory, financial, and management accounts
  • Assist clients with cash management and budgeting
  • Supervise and manage a team of accountants
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and efficiency
  • Manage client relationships and ensure high standards of client service

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA or ACA)
  • Experience in accounting and financial management
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Proven track record of managing client portfolios and supervising teams
