About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with early years practitioners to plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of children in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Provide observations and assessments of children's progress and development, using tools and techniques specified by the EYFS framework, and provide feedback to support ongoing assessment and planning for children's learning.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance knowledge and skills related to the EYFS framework, child development, safeguarding, and first aid.
Requirements
  • A relevant qualification and/or experience in early years education, such as a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification or equivalent.
  • A sound knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework, including the principles, goals, and standards.
  • Experience in supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) or disabilities in an early years setting.
