As a Lead Engineer at Barclays, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital landscape. Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and implement data architecture pipelines that ensure the seamless transfer and processing of durable, complete, and consistent data.
  2. Develop and maintain data warehouses and data lakes that manage data volumes and velocity while adhering to stringent security measures.
  3. Collaborate with data scientists to build and deploy machine learning models that drive business value.
  4. Advise key stakeholders on functional and cross-functional areas of impact and alignment, ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives.

  1. Lead risk management and mitigation efforts, ensuring the control and governance agenda is supported.
  2. Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work your team does.
