We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler to join our team at Team Jobs - Strategic Accounts in Yeovil.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and fitting mechanical components, as well as testing and quality control. Previous experience in the aerospace industry is essential, with a strong understanding of engineering drawings and instructions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and fit mechanical components to engineering drawings and instructions
  • Test and inspect mechanical assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Operate and maintain equipment and machinery
  • Work effectively in a lean environment and adhere to company processes and procedures
  • Collaborate with designers and engineers to achieve project goals
Requirements:
  • Engineering Apprenticeship (desirable but not essential)
  • Knowledge of mechanical assembly, fitting, testing, and machining
  • High standard of health and safety
  • Ability to read and follow instructions
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
