Mental Health Care Professionals Wanted for Secure Patient Transport

We are a leading provider of secure patient transport services, committed to delivering exceptional care and support to our patients. Our team of experienced Mental Health Transport Assistants play a vital role in ensuring the safe transportation of patients to various settings.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable patients. As a Mental Health Transport Assistant, you will be responsible for transporting patients safely and efficiently, while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor under pressure.
You will work closely with our experienced team of drivers and healthcare professionals to provide personalized care and support to each patient. This role requires excellent communication skills, patience, and empathy, as well as the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
Requirements- Valid Full UK Manual Driving License with minimum 12 months driving experience
- Maintain Enhanced DBS
- Excellent communication skills, including IT ability
- Ability to remain calm under pressure whilst delivering genuine care
- Demonstrate resilience
- Able to work as part of a team effectively
- Excellent attention to detail

This is a full-time contract, working on a 4-on-4-off shift pattern, alternating between days and nights. You will work approximately 40.3 hours per week, with a blended rate of £12.37 p/h (Day, Night, and Weekend Shifts). Annual remuneration starts from £25,946.23, based on expected hours. There may be occasions when working times need to change with reasonable notice.
Please note that this contract includes enhanced pay of £1.20 extra per hour for work at a Mental Health 'place of safety' and for bed watch activities, supporting ward staff.
