About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Applications Architect to join our team at BSI. As a key member of our IT organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain enterprise application architectures that align with our organization's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Define and implement strategies for keeping our application suites and ecosystems up-to-date, including developing plans and roadmaps for applications and application suites.
  • Advise users on forthcoming functionality and emerging technologies, and assess their potential impact on our strategic goals, threats, and risks.
  • Ensure the design of systems meets specific requirements, is compatible with agreed systems architectures, and adheres to corporate standards and regulations.
  • Develop organizational-wide policies, standards, guidelines, and methods for systems design, and drive adoption of relevant policies, standards, strategies, and architectures.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in enterprise application architecture, with a strong understanding of strategic issues and the systems development lifecycle.
  • Detailed practical knowledge of IT infrastructure and software development and maintenance methods, tools, and techniques.
  • Conversant with our IT strategy, policies, and standards, with a sound knowledge of risk assessment, change management, configuration management, reliability, and safety methods, and the use of metrics.
  • Skilled in project risk management, with evidence of analytical ability and attention to detail.
  • Combines technical competence with business and commercial awareness, and possesses first-class communications skills.
