Job Description

We are seeking an experienced technician to join our team at the Oldham Depot, as a Shift Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our modern fleet of vehicles.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is £40,000+ with opportunities for overtime and flexible working arrangements. We also offer a generous company pension scheme, 28 days holiday (including bank holidays), rising to 33 days with length of service, and various other benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and repair of PCVs, HGVs/LGVs, trucks, and other vehicles in the fleet.
  • Perform routine checks and diagnose faults to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and maintain high-quality standards.
Requirements
  • An engineering background with a vehicular focus, preferably with experience in bus maintenance or similar industries.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools and equipment.
