About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Engineer to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services. As a Java Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing Java springboot based microservices/APIs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop Java springboot based microservices/APIs as part of an agile team.
  • Lead and implement best practices in the team, including consistent branching strategy, coding standards, BDD/TDD, CICD, and DevOps.
  • Participate in every step of the software development life cycle, from design, development, testing, release, and troubleshooting.
  • Follow the Scrum Methodology, participating actively in sprint backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, sprint review, and sprint retrospective.
  • Support other team members and teams by sharing knowledge and implementing innovative solutions.
Requirements
  • Excellent knowledge in Java and Springboot.
  • Excellent knowledge in developing microservices & RESTful APIs.
  • Excellent leadership and managerial skills.
  • Experience in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) software development methodology.
  • Experience with ALM, JIRA.
  • Good knowledge on DevOps and CICD.
  • Good knowledge on Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Good knowledge of Kafka or any other messaging tools.
  • Good understanding of GIT commands.
  • Good problem-solving, analytics, and debugging skills.
