Sustainability Reporting Analyst - UK and Ireland (12 Month Fixed Contract)

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity to join our team as a Sustainability Reporting Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare reports to ensure compliance with environmental legislation across the UK and Ireland.
  • Validate sustainability data, reconciling multiple data sources.
  • Monitor sustainability-related legislation and redefine reporting requirements as needed.
  • Continuously improve environmental reporting processes.
  • Manage the purchasing process for Packaging Recovery Notes (PRNs), ensuring compliance with recycling obligations.

Customer-Focused Sustainability Reporting:

  • Coordinate preparation of sustainability reports as requested by customers.

External Agency and Scheme Management:

  • Liaise with and manage relationships with external agencies, including scheme operators.

Internal Communication and Compliance Updates:

  • Report on compliance status and share internal results with the compliance steering committee.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data collection, manipulation, and visualization tools.
  • Ability to interpret sustainability-related legislation.
  • Previous experience in sustainability and/or data analysis and reporting.
  • Good communication skills, ability to establish and maintain relationships, and promote collaboration.
  • System savvy; experience with SAP R3P/BW is beneficial.
