Job Title: Primary School Teaching Support Professional

Location: Newark, Nottinghamshire

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Support Professional to join our team, working across various primary schools in the Newark area. As a Teaching Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and helping children achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to pupils in EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons under the guidance of the class teacher.
  • Support the development of children's social, emotional, and academic skills.
  • Help to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour support.

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent (e.g., Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools).
  • Proven experience working in a primary school setting, particularly within EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
  • A strong understanding of the primary curriculum and child development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, caring, and adaptable approach.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
