About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Belcan. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for our clients in the marine and offshore industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for marine and offshore applications, including cable routing and electrical testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of electrical design solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in electrical design, including knowledge of electrical systems, circuit design, and diagnostics.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in electrical design.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical design, preferably in a marine or offshore environment.
  • Proficient in 2D/3D CAD with electrical packages (Foran or NX preferred).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with cable routing, electrical testing, and electrical system design.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, circuit design, and diagnostics.
  • Ability to obtain UK security clearance.
